Cavan manager Mattie McGleenan won't be rushing back any of his big names for tomorrow's McKenna Cup clash with Tyrone.

An experimental Breffni County side came unstuck in Antrim at the weekend and McGleenan has confirmed that he'll continue in the same vein personnel-wise against his native county on Wednesday night:

"We're probably missing a dozen or more senior players," he states in The Irish News.. "Martin Reilly is on honeymoon, Dara McVeety is coming back after a taking a knock on his knee, Killian [Clarke] got hurt on International Rules duty, Gearoid McKiernan is coming back to fitness but we're not panicking. We're not going to rush them back.

"We'll bring them back in as and when they're ready, but they're not going to play unless they're 100 per cent so the McKenna Cup is great for these other guys to sample county football."
