The Yellow Submarines Underage Training

Ballinagh Submarines training will be commencing on Saturday the 13th of January from 10.30am till 11.30am in Ballinagh Community Centre. Any kids aged from 3years up till 6 years are more than welcome. This is a great opportunity for your child to have fun, social-interaction, meet new friends, and learn the basics of Gaelic Football, while being supervised in a safe environment  and coached by GAA coaches. Please spread the word, with new faces always welcome. A minimum of 2 euro will cover the charge of community centre, with maximum of 5 euro per family. Training for Under 8s and 10s will also take place on Saturday the 13th of January  at 10.30am till 11.30am, in where again the focus will be on fun, participation, and learning the fundamentals of Gaelic Football. The GAA is the heartbeat of communties, and is a great way to get involved in the local community, in where we welcome  everyone to the Ballinagh GAA club.

R.I.P Sean Sheridan

The death has occurred of Seán Sheridan, Drumcrow. Peacefully at his residence following a short illness. Predeceased by his son Brian and brother Padraig. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie and devoted children Micheál, Hospital, Co. Limerick. Darina, Whitegate, Co. Clare. Seanie, Ballymore, Co. Longford. Nóirín, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Niall Vancouver, Canada. Sister Moy MacEoin, Kinvara, Co. Galway. Grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends. Sean's son Michaél played with Ballinagh in the 1980s and 90s and was part of the victorious 1992 Intermediate Championship side. R.I.P Ann Keating
The death has occurred of Ann Keating (nee Power); Ballinabanogue, Kilmacthomas, County Waterford and formerly of Coolnasmear, Dungarvan, 7th January 2018, peacefully, in the loving care of staff at The Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Ann, predeceased by her husband Seán, parents Patrick and Margaret, brother John, sisters Peggy and Kathleen, deeply mourned by her sons John, Patrick, Michael and Larry, daughter Margaret O'Connell, sister Mary Fraher (Bleantis, Ballinamult), daughters-in-law Madge, Orla, Sandra and Martina, son-in-law Mossie O' Connell, grandchildren, niece, nephew, extended family, neighbours and friends. Ann's son John Keating has been and is an integral part of Ballinagh GAA ever since his move here in the 1990s. He has served as both Chairman, secretary and registrar in the last 15 years, all his sons play football with Ballinagh, Sean and Oisin with the seniors and Odhran and Fionn within the underage structures. We would like to extend our sympathies to John, Madge and the extended Keating family in Waterford. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam Dilis
