Race Night

Huge thanks to all who sponsored races, purchased horses & all who attended the very successful & enjoyable Club Race Night in the Slieve Rossa. . Thanks to Barbara for her work on the race cards ,to all who sold cards and  to the  club members who ran the event on the night . Proceeds will go towards the upgrading of the walking / running track in Terry Coyle Park  for which a Sports Captain Grant of €12k was recently awarded. The club is very grateful for this grant and we  look forward  to getting the necessary works completed in 2018 and so meet the needs of club members and the wider community . Healthy Clubs

Do you want to get moving and active this New Year, but you have nowhere to go?

Do you find it hard to find a safe and well-lit area to go a walk during the dark winter months? Well, Cavan Gaels has the answer! Cavan Gaels are coming on board with Operation Transformation and the GAA for Ireland Lights Up. Every Monday from the 22nd January - 26th February 2018 (6 weeks) we are organising a supervised walk for you, your family and friends to come and walk from 7pm. We will have details of starting point for you in the coming days. We want everyone to come and join for Ireland Lights Up 2018! All are welcome to come to this event. There is no cost involved! If you are interested in taking part just call or text Hugh Reilly, Club Health and Wellbeing Officer on 0831240257.

Over 50's exercise class takes place every Friday at 11.a.m. in Terry Coyle clubrooms. Everyone welcome. Bí Folláin.

Sympathy

Cavan Gaels GAA wishes to extend sympathy to the family of Charlie Cronin of Lismore, Crossdoney and formerly of Owen Roe, Cavan. We express our sympathy to Charlie's wife, Sinead, sons Cathal and Stuart, daughter Niamh and extended family.

Bingo

This Friday 12th Jan. Bingo will take place in the Ozanam Centre at 9p.m. with a prize fund of €2170 to be won. Thanks and Happy Christmas to all our loyal bingo patrons for their continued support.

Circuit Training

Circuit Training for all ages and fitness levels, male and female, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the clubrooms. All welcome.

Our club merchandise is available locally at The Sports Shop on Main St. with a wide selection in stock. Joma and O'Neills Sportwear (from U10 to Adult) are now available.
