Cavan will be without Tomás Corr, Rory Dunne and James McEnroe for the coming season.

According to a report from The Irish News, the trio have indicated to manager Mattie McGleenan that they will not be available in 2018.

Despite some rumours surrounding his inter-county future, Castlerahan playmaker Cian Mackey is understood to be back in the Breffni set-up with McGleenan having made a number of additions to his squad in recent weeks.

Ballyhaise's Sean McCormack and Paul Gilchreest of Lavey partnered each other at midfield in a challenge match against Kildare at the weekend which ended in defeat for the Blues.

Ramor United pair Ado Cole and Bryan Magee also featured in the game at Abbotstown which saw Killygarry's Mattie McKenna suffer a broken leg.
