Ballinagh will host our 2017 AGM ON Sunday the 17th of December at 2:30pm in the school. All members are encouraged to attend for a review of the year gone by and a look into the progress needed for the coming year. Election of officers will take place as well as a full review of the years finances gone by. New members and supporters are welcome to attend, slthough any votes will be reserved to just 2017 members.
The numbers drawn for the week ending 20/11/17 were 4-11-14-28, there was no Jackpot winner. €25 Winners; Brigid Powell, Olivia Harrington (C/O Moores) Jim and Christina Smith (Mullaghby), Maura Sheridan (Drumcrow). The losing ticket drawn this week to be entered into the draw for a weekend away at the end of the month was Peggy McGuire. Next week's Jackpot is €4'600. RIP Eileen Cusack
The death has occurred of Eileen Cusack (nee McGuinness) 15 St. Phelim's Place, Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Tommy Cusack, and mother of the late Eamon. Saturday, November 25th, 2017 peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Oldcastle Rd., Virginia in her 93rd. year. Sadly missed by her loving sons and daughters, Gerry, Monica, Hugh, Pat, Phelim, Bernie, Teresa, Pauline and Ria, sons in law, daughters in law, adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister Josie Traynor (Tydavnett, Co. Monaghan), nephews, nieces, all her relatives, neighbours and friends.
Eileen is Teresa Gumleys mother. Teresa and her family have been immeresed in Ballinagh GAA for decades, her husband Brian played for Ballinagh as well as being a member of the committee in the club for many years, her son's Brian and Colin both coached and played in the Ballinagh colours for years while Emma has played Camogie with the club recently winning a Junior Championship at corner back for the women. The thoughts and prayers of Ballinagh GAA are with Teresa and her family at this time.Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam dílis
