Just wondering are Denis Murphy or Edward Coady playing this year ?

Coady has given some amount of service over the years and would be hard
to replace.

If everyone togged out we could have a forward line of Paul Coady, Eddie Byrne, Jm Nolan, James Doyle, Marty kavanagh and Denis Murphy.

sean Murphy would be first name on forward line for me.

I'd have Sean Murphy instead of Eddie Byrne. Also Denis Murphy is unproven at inter county level. There's no doubt he has the ability but He hasn't shown he can turn a game when the chips are down. He is as good a free taker as there is in the country though so I suppose he'd be worth his place for that alone. I just wish there was a bit more divilment in him! If Seamus Murphy was to put in the required effort he could push for a forward position but pace would be a problem there.

Disagree with Denis Murphy being unproven at county level as he scored 1-4 against Laois a few years back
including the winning point in injury time.

Injuries have got in the way since but would love to see himself and Marty Kavanagh get a good run
of games playing together.

There's a lot of hypothetical names being bandied about, which probably outnumber the actual panel if the Nationalist is to be believed. Who exactly is in and who's out?

Both panels were listed on carlowgaa.ie this time last year.

Is participation in the Walsh cup being scraped or was that some form of shot across the bows to try and knock some heads together?

Rangers win by 4 against St Mullins and Ballinkillen beat Myshall by 2.

Rangers win final by 6+

Looking forward to the final on Sunday. Myshall and Rangers.... Rangers look to be favourites... Myshall have that traditional fire in their bellies that make them a very stubborn team that is hard to beat.

Based on the semi finals - Rangers have an excellent bench while Myshall subs were no slouches either.
If the final is nearly as good as the semi's - we will have a great game.

Big gap in standard between both semi finals, but they were close exciting games.
I'd fear that if Mlr get off to a fast start this could be a very 1 sided final. Need Myshall to keep it close early on and frustrate Mlr and keep it defensive. But even then Mlr will still win by 6 or 7 in the end.
