Tyrone, Dublin and Mayo all cruised into the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals at the weekend after wins over Armagh, Monaghan and Roscommon, respectively. Here are our selections for team of the week from those three games…

1. Stephen Cluxton (Dublin)

Cluxton's record-setting 89th appearance went according to script last Saturday evening, pulling off two fine saves to ensure Monaghan wouldn't register any majors at HQ.

2. Michael Fitzsimons (Dublin)

Dublin's best defender against the Farney men thanks to a solid 70-minute contribution at Croker, with two big blocks and a turnover among the highlights.

3. Donal Vaughan (Mayo)

Rock-hard at the back in what was Mayo's performance of their season on the Bank Holiday Monday as their defence conceded just 0-7 from play to the Roscommon attack.

4. Keith Higgins (Mayo)

Higgins was immense for Stephen Rochford's men yesterday, leading from the back with a goal and assisting another against the Rossies. The Ballyhaunis man was unlucky to miss out on the 'Man of the Match' award.

5. Patrick Durcan (Mayo)

Bombed forward at every opportunity in his county's rout of the Rossies while also carrying his defensive duties out to a tee at the other end.

6. Tiernan McCann (Tyrone)

McCann added another fine defensive display to his collection for Tyrone this summer, firing over a point for good measure against the Orchard men.

7. Peter Harte (Tyrone)

Stood out again in Tyrone's hammering of Armagh on Saturday, registering 1-2 as the Red Hands made their return to the last four stage in some comfort.

8. Brian Fenton (Dublin)

Battled brilliantly around the centre for the All-Ireland champions as they had minimal fuss against Malachy O'Rourke's Monaghan on Saturday evening.

9. Colm Cavanagh (Tyrone)

Saturday saw an outstanding performance from Cavanagh in Tyrone'e engine room against Armagh. The Moy man is surely a strong candidate for Footballer of the Year at this stage.

10. David Mulgrew (Tyrone)

Mulgrew came off the bench to kick 2-1 in the Ulster champions' dismantling of Armagh at the weekend and manager Mickey Harte had plenty of praise for him afterwards.

11. Aidan O'Shea (Mayo)

O'Shea earned himself the 'Man of the Match' award in yesterday's replay victory over Roscommon with another eye-catching contribution around the centre. The big Breaffy man is having quite the summer indeed.

12. Jack McCaffrey (Dublin)

Adapted to his new role in Dublin's half-forward line well on Saturday, working hard in numerous different departments all over the pitch against the Farney County.

13. Paul Mannion (Dublin)

Mannion kicked 0-3 and also should have had a goal to his tally on Saturday in what was another fine display from the Kilmacud Crokes man in the Dubs' attack.

14. Mark Bradley (Tyrone)

Tyrone's main outlet up front against Armagh and Mickey Harte will be hoping for more of the same from Bradley when they do battle with the Dubs on August 27th.

15. Dean Rock (Dublin)

Having been black carded against Kildare the last day, Rock returned to fire 1-8 in a ruthless display against Monaghan at the weekend.
