Nominations have closed for the election of officers to the Carlow GAA board for 2017.
The convention will take place in Ballon on Friday, December 9th and there is set to be a few contests on the night.
A few county members have completed their five-year term and must step aside meaning that the positions of secretary, central council representative and development officer are up for grabs.
Sean Campion will return as chairman unopposed as will vice-chairman Pat Nolan, while Michael Doran and Michael Whelan are to contest the position of secretary.
