St Mullins manager PJ Delaney believes that his charges did not play to their full potential as they exited the Leinster club SHC.

Dublin champions Cuala proved too strong on the day as they progress to the final where they will play Kilkenny champions O'Loughlin Gaels.

Delaney admitted to the Carlow Nationalist that they came up against a good side, but he was disappointed in the manner of the defeat.

"They are a good team and we didn't play as well as we could," said Delaney. "There was very little in it at half time. We still had the match to be won and we didn't do it.

"It is hard to think about it. Cuala are a good team and we will have to sit down and look at it. We are devastated, disappointed and we will look at ourselves."
