Byrne wary of Naomh Eoin

September 30, 2015

Mount Leinster Rangers captain Eddie Byrne stressed that they will have to be at their best to see off Naomh Eoin in Sunday's county SHC semi-final.

The sides meet at Netwatch Cullen Park as part of a double header with the second semi-final between St Mullin's and Ballinkillen making up an attractive programme.

Byrne feels that all four remaining teams are hitting top form at the right time and he states in the Carlow Nationalist that the hungrier teams will come through.

"All teams are peaking for the semi-finals," said Byrne. "You have four chances out of six of getting there so I presume Myshall have been doing a lot of hard training," said Byrne.

"There is no bones about it. They beat us twice last year and deservedly so."
