Longford defeated Carlow in tonight's Leinster MFC match-up at Pearse Park in impressive fashion.

Tony Devlin's men went into a 1-5 to 0-0 early lead and never looked back. They went to the dressing room at half time with a 1-7 to 0-4 advantage and eventually ran out six point victors.
