Carlow veteran Eddie Coady is confident that the side can turn their fortunes around against Laois.

The Barrowsiders lost out to Westmeath in the opening round of the Leinster SHC last weekend and now they face Laois in a must win game at Netwatch Cullen Park on Sunday.

And Coady stressed to the Carlow Nationalists that it was imperative to give their all this weekend.

"There is only one way we can react and that is to take it to Netwatch Cullen Park at the weekend. We have to go hell for leather against Laois. Small margins win games and we haven't had those," said Coady.

"This time we will have to buy or get a bit of luck. It is all to play for. It was disappointing last weekend."
