Minors have work to do

April 15, 2015

Carlow minor hurlers must pick themselves up following their defeat to Offaly, according to their manager Michael Redmond.

The Barrowsiders suffered a 12-point defeat Offaly last Saturday and they now face Westmeath in the next round.

The sides met already in the Leinster League and Westmeath triumphed on that occasion and they will be favourites here again.

Redmond stated to the Carlow Nationalist that they must regroup and try again. "We have to get back to the grindstone and go again," said Redmond. "If you play hurling that's what you do, you have to try again."
