HL2A round-up: Lake men and Barrowsiders set the pace

Westmeath and Carlow are the early pacesetters in Division 2A.

Both sides enjoyed emphatic opening-round victories today as the 2015 national hurling league got up and running.

The Lake County roared to a 2-20 to 1-8 victory over London at Mullingar, with Robbie Greville netting both goals for Michael Ryan's charges.

Meanwhile Carlow's margin of victory was identical as they defeated Wicklow by 3-17 to 1-6 at Dr Cullen Park.

In Tralee, in the same section, Kerry and Derry played out an entertaining 0-14 apiece draw.
