Shamrocks of Offaly experienced little difficulty in disposing of Carlow Town's challenge in the Leinster Club JHC at Ballinamere today.

A Glenn Mooney goal helped establish a commanding 1-12 to 0-4 for the Offaly outfit and the second-half followed a similar pattern.

Nigel Dunne applied the gloss to their comfortable victory with a second goal with three minutes remaining on the clock.

Shamrocks' reward is a last four clash against St Brigid's of Westmeath on Sunday, November 23rd.
