Following a three-year absence Naomh Eoin are back in a county final and their manager Rory Kinsella is confident that they can get the job done.

Naomh Eoin go into the match as underdogs, but the former Wexford hurling manager is confident that his charges have the ability to see the job through.

Speaking to the Carlow Nationalist, he admitted: "St Mullins are a serious hurling team, serious quality in the forwards. They have to be favourites.

"It is a great opportunity to be in a county final. It is a step up from last year. We are making progress. If we perform like we did against Rangers, we will be there or thereabouts."
