Rathvilly midfielder Brendan Murphy feels that they have improved with every game they played in the championship.
Last weekend, they booked their place in the County SFC final after a 1-11 to 0-09 win over Tinryland and now they face Old Leighlin in the final.
Murphy pointed to the start they had to this year's campaign as proof to the fact that they have improved considerably since then.
Speaking to the Carlow Nationalist he said: "We had a bad start to the year. Shocking. Terrible performances in our first two games. We recognised that ourselves and knew we had to up it as a team. Thankfully we have done that with massive work and performances."
Murphy was forced to sit out the semi-final win through injury, but is expected to return for the county final.
