Mount Leinster Rangers selector John Coleman says they have plenty to improve on if they are to retain their title this year.
Speaking to the Carlow Nationalist, Coleman revealed that their performance against Naomh Brid was not great, despite their comfortable win.
"We are in a semi final and that is what we came up to do. We are happy to be there but there is plenty of work to do. That is no harm," said Coleman.
"You try to fire every day. It is no secret that we are not hurling that well at the moment. We have a month to prepare for the semi final and we will see what happens when we get there."
MLR will take on Naomh Eoin in one semi final, while St Mullin's and Erin's Own do battle in the other.
