Carlow are on the look-out for a new senior hurling manager following the departure of John Meyler.

The former Wexford hurler has parted company with the Barrowsiders after a two-year term.

"Carlow County Board have announced that Senior hurling manager John Meyler has stepped down after 2 years with the county," a statement read.

"On behalf of Carlow GAA, county board, players and supporters, I would like to thank John Meyler for his dedication and commitment over the last two years.

"John is as passionate about hurling as you would every meet.
