We had another busy day of action today as round 1B of the football qualifiers continued, while we also had an Ulster semi-final to look forward too as well as a Leinster SHC replay and an All-Ireland SHC qualifier.

The games were spread out in two sections during the during with three qualifiers in the afternoon starting with the meeting of Carlow and Waterford in Dr Cullen Park at 2pm. This was be followed by the clash between Tyrone and Louth at Healy Park (2.30pm) and Cavan v. Westmeath at Breffni Park (3pm).

There was a break in the action after those games until 7pm when the three remaining games took place as Monaghan and Armagh meet at Clones in the right to face Donegal in this year's Ulster SHC final.

Meanwhile, down in O'Connor Park, Tullamore, The eagerly awaited replay between Galway and Kilkenny in the Leinster SHC semi-final took place and what a match was in store there.

Finally, Waterford took on Laois in the first round of the hurling qualifiers. The Munster side have home advantage in Walsh Park.
