The Carlow footballers could be on a collision course with their management team over their training methods.
Carlow captain Benny Kavanagh has questioned the amount of time that they spend on the field at training as they often spend up to two hours training.
Kavanagh told the Carlow Nationalist that he feels they should be able to get all they want to do in just over an hour.
"I personally think that if you do an hour and 15 minutes, it's plenty. As regards spending too much time in the field, that is management. I think you can get through and awful lot in an hour."
However, Carlow manager Anthony Rainbow feels that his side need to do more work, especially in the gym. "I don't think we are spending enough time on the training pitch. Teams seem to be fitter than us over the last couple of games. We need to do more gym work. We haven't been doing that much gym work in the last couple of months and we need to up that."
