August 09, 2018

Meath's Endy Ehichoya with Ashley Mayiza Leitrim during round 2 of the Gerry Reilly Cup at Millbrook

The  Gerry Reilly Leinster U16 Football Tournament Quarter Finals take play this weekend.

The top 2 teams in each of the 4 groups from the 'Round Robin' series qualified for the Quarter-Finals giving us 4  very competitive games to look forward to.

Carlow take on Louth on Saturday morning in the first of the Quarter Finals. On Saturday evening it's the turn of Down & Longford to do battle. Down, like Carlow, are playing in the Gerry Reilly for the first time.

On Sunday afternoon Meath play Wicklow. Many of the Wicklow team played Meath Minors in this year's Leinster Football Championship. Then on Sunday evening it's Cavan taking on Dublin which should be a cracker of a match.
