Ryan to attend Carlow preview night

New GAA Director General Tom Ryan will be one of the guests at Tinryland GAA's Leinster championship preview night on Saturday May 5th.
Ryan officially takes over the role from Paraic Duffy at the end of this month, and his first appearance will be at this event.
Alongside, the Carlow native will be current senior football manager Turlough O'Brien as well as former county players Marc Carpenter and Tommy Dwyer, while Leinster GAA chairman Jim Bolger will also be part of the panel.
Given the nature of the club v. county row that has been simmering for a long time now, Ryan could be hit with some interesting questions on the night.
Tickets for the event cost €20 and they will be sold on a first come first-served basis.
