St Andrew's manager Hamish Beaton believes his charges are growing in confidence with each game.
Having pushed Rathvilly all the way in the last round, St Andrews ran out easy winners against O'Hanrahan's last Sunday and now they face an experienced Old Leighlin side in the next round.
And Beaton stressed to the Carlow Nationalist that his charges will not be overawed by the occasion as they now realise that they are able to compete in the senior ranks.
"Old Leighlin are one of the kingpins of Carlow football over the last ten years and we are just delighted to be playing them in a senior championship quarterfinal," said Beaton.
Rathvilly and Palatine are straight through to the semi-finals with 100% records. In the remaining quarterfinal, Eire Og take on Tinryland.
