Offaly have been given a walkover by Kildare in their Leinster senior camogie championship quarter-final.

The game was scheduled for St. Brendan's Park, Birr next Sunday, but Kildare won't be fulfiling the fixture. The Lilywhites suffered a 2-8 to 4-18 defeat to the same opponents in last year's championship and are coming off the back of a poor league campaign, which culminated in relegation to Division 3 yesterday when they lost to Down by 0-5 to 3-10 in Dunganny, Co. Meath.

Offaly will now face last year's All-Ireland semi-finalists Dublin in the provincial semi-final on May 13 at a Dublin venue.
