Westmeath's Ray Connellan has confirmed that he has parted company with St Kilda.

The 24-year-old Athlone clubman - who signed a two-year contract with the Saints in July 2016 - revealed on Instagram: "I wish my time at @stkildafc could go on a little longer but sadly it's not to be!

"Most amazing experience of my life coming here.. thanks to everyone who has played a part in helping me live out this dream."
