Fogarty aims to put qualifiers to good use
July 18, 2008
Laois Ladies defender Patricia Fogarty has stressed that her side still have every chance of landing the Brendan Martin Cup this year, despite losing the Leinster decider to Dublin last Sunday.
The O'Moore Ladies await the winners of one of the three first round qualifiers and Fogarty will be hoping that by the time the game comes around the team will have a game plan for when things begin to go wrong on the pitch.
"We have to sit down and work out where we're going to go from here," said Fogarty.
"We're going to have to look at ourselves and see what we can do when things aren't going so well for us."
Fogarty has no doubt in this Laois side's ability to emulate the success of 2001 and will be hoping that if the team can knit together properly they can end the seven-year wait for ultimate success.
"We definitely can (win it). I've so much faith in every girl on the panel and I think when we do work together we work together very well."
