O Se brothers on TV3

July 02, 2008
Championship Throw-In with Matt Cooper, tonight on TV3 features an exclusive interview with the Ó Sé brothers as Tomás captains Kerry on Sunday in the absence of the suspended Paul Galvin. Tomas, Marc and Darragh spoke to TV3 ' s Sinead Kissane ahead of Sunday ' s Munster Senior Football Final with Cork. Tomás Ó Sé admits replacing Paul Galvin as captain will be a tough act to follow: "Paul has deserved his captaincy and it's unfortunate what's happened. I'd love to be walking behind him in Pairc Ui Chaioimh. There's a lot of leaders in the dressing-room, a lot of fellas do a lot of talking so it's not really a huge job, but it is still a great honour to captain Kerry, but I wish I was walking behind Paul and not walking in front myself." The programme also includes a full preview to Sunday ' s Leinster Senior Hurling Final, with former Offaly hurler Daithí Regan providing expert analysis. Former Cork centre back and two time All Ireland winner, Steven O ' Brien, asses the Rebels ' chances of success. While new Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald talks to TV3 ahead of his first game in charge as they face Antrim. Sunday ' s Leinster Senior Hurling between Kilkenny and Wexford is the first of three provincial finals live on TV3 this month. The Connacht Senior Football Final is live on July 13 with the Ulster Senior Football Final on Sunday July 20. TV3 will also broadcast the mouth-watering Football Qualifier between Monaghan and Derry, exclusively live on Saturday July 19 at 2pm. Championship Throw-In: Thursday 10.30pm on TV3, repeated on Saturday morning at 9am.
