Walsh in line for Kingdom call-up

July 02, 2008
Donnacha Walsh is believed to be making a strong push for inclusion in the Kerry attack ahead of Sunday's Munster SFC final against Cork. With Paul Galvin and Declan O'Sullivan ruled out through suspension and injury respectively, there are two vacancies to be filled in the half forward line and while Sean O'Sullivan and Darren O'Sullivan are favourites to come in, Walsh has emerged as a surprise contender. But after impressing in the National League and in recent training sessions, he could be about to make his long-awaited championship bow for the Kingdom.
