Hurling qualifier draw
June 29, 2008
The draws for the second and third round of the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers have been made, with all the big guns managing to pull out home advantage.
The round two pairings were already known but the draw took place in Croke Park this afternoon to decide home advantage for the two games and it was bad news for underdogs Laois and Antrim, as they must make the trip to Galway and Waterford respectively.
The round three draw was made up of the beaten provincial semi-finalists in Munster and Leinster, with Cork meeting Dublin and Limerick set to face Offaly. After a second draw to assign home venue, the two Munster sides came out of their posts first.
The round three games take place on the 5 July with the round three games seven days later.
Round 2
Galway v Laois
Waterford v Antrim
Round 3
Cork v Dublin
Limerick v Offaly
