A happy Declan O'Sullivan after victory over Cork
Declan O'Sullivan has had an operation to mend the knee he injured during Kerry's Munster semi-final victory over Clare.
The former Kerry captain damaged his left knee in the second half of the game against the Banner County and could after all be out of action for up to eight weeks.
After having corrective surgery, the Dromid Pearse clubman is certain to miss the Munster final.
The good news is that the operation was a complete success and the player is expected to make a full recovery.
