Just days after clinching his fourth consecutive national handball crown, Paul Brady has returned to the Cavan senior football panel before their Ulster SFC clash with Antrim next Sunday week, May 18.
The 29-year old, who left the squad in June last year after the Breffni men's exit from their provincial championship, trained with Donal Keogan's squad on Tuesday night last and makes up the trio of Sean Johnston and Martin Cahill all left for Chicago last summer.
Keogan, who is a relative of Brady's, was incensed by the trio's decision to opt out of the panel and at the time stated that none of them would play for their county again as long as he was at the helm.
However the Denn clubman has gradually welcomed each one back with Johnston returning to the squad in late December for the NFL and both Cahill and Brady coming into the fold in the recent weeks for the Championship.
Brady has been playing with his club Mullahoran since the start of the domestic league in Cavan and is as experienced as he is versatile for any team he lines out for on the playing field.
