Sheridan tired of facing same opposition

Longford goalkeeper Damien Sheridan has admitted he is growing tired of facing Westmeath in the championship.
Sunday's Leinster SFC opener at Pearse Park will be the third meeting of the counties in the past 12 months and while Sheridan is eagerly looking forward to the start of the championship, he would prefer to be facing someone different.
Longford produced a memorable second half recovery to defeat their midland rivals in the corresponding game last year, only to lose heavily to them when they met again in the All-Ireland qualifiers eight weeks later.
He said: "To get them again in the qualifiers was disappointing. Westmeath definitely wanted to get us in the qualifiers, every team wants to get revenge.
"However, I'm sure neither team wanted to get each other this year. You like to pit your wits against somebody else. You might only have seven or eight years playing inter-county football and you'd like to get to play everybody.
"I don't think I've played Meath in the championship. I haven't played Louth, Wicklow or Wexford which is fast approaching half of Leinster. In contrast, we played Dublin for three years in-a-row."
The Dromard clubman added: "The way the league is structured you're pretty much with the same teams the whole time as well. You might only ever play 10 teams in your career when there are 32 - 34 if you count London and New York - and it would be better if there was another way to ensure more variety.
"However, that's the draw and we'll get on with it."
