Armagh All-Ireland winner Aidan O'Rourke is in the running to be appointed manager of the Antrim senior footballers.

The Irish News reports it was revealed at Monday night's County Board meeting that O'Rourke has now entered the equation along with former Antrim defender John McKeever, former St Gall's boss Lenny Harbinson and the outgoing Frank Fitzsimons.

Dromintee clubman O'Rourke - who is GAA Development Officer at Queen's - boasts past intercounty experience with Armagh, Down and Louth and interviews for the post are expected to take place before the middle of September.
