Carlow GAA has a new high-profile supporter in Usain Bolt, it would seem.
The legendary Jamaican sprinter was happy to pose with an old Carlow jersey after bringing the curtain down on his glittering athletics career with a third-place finish in the 100 metres at the World Track and Field Championships in London last weekend.
The photo was taken by well-known physio Anthony 'Star' Geoghegan, an avid Carlow fan who works with some of the world's top athletes. He also succeeded in getting World 100 metres women's champion Tori Bowie to sport his county colours.
