The Kilclonfert youngster was a county minor in 2013 and '14, and was also a talented rugby player.
The counties competing for the Adam Mangan Memorial Cup are: Armagh, Kerry 1, Kerry 2, Dublin, Roscommon, Down, Louth, Cork, Meath, Sligo, Offaly, Westmeath, Laois, Cavan, Monaghan and Kildare.
Meanwhile, the Adam Mangan Memorial Shield will feature teams from Galway North, Clare, Cork, Galway South, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Longford, Limerick, Carlow, Wexford and Dublin.
The Cup and Shield finals will be held simultaneously in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park and Kilclonfert at 4pm.
