Tickets still available for All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals

July 21, 2017

The first game is played at the newly re-developed Páirc Uí Chaoimh

The GAA is expecting the attendances at Saturday and Sunday's All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals in the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh to exceed 30,000.

Stand tickets for both fixtures are all sold out (bar a limited number of premium tickets) but terrace tickets remain on sale.

Tickets can be purchased from Centra, SuperValu and gaa.ie (print at home and etickets which can be read on smart phones) right up to throw-in and supporters are strongly encouraged to acquire tickets in advance of match day.

Meanwhile, matchgoers are advised to avoid driving to Páirc Uí Chaoimh on either day as cars will not be permitted at the stadium or in its environs.

Patrons are advised to use city centre car parks and walk or use public transport (route 202) from Merchant's Quay to Mahon Point).

Regarding Sunday's game specifically, as supporters from both countries are travelling from a similar direction it would assist the flow of traffic if motorists travelling from the Northern parts of Waterford/Wexford would use the M8 (Cork -Dublin Road).

Traffic on the N25 (Cork -Waterford) will be heavy and delays can be expected.
Match Traffic should then travel via the Jack Lynch Tunnel and take Junction 10 (Mahon) exit.
