Lilywhites to take in warm-weather training

Kildare will be heading to Portugal for some warm weather training ahead of the Leinster SFC.

The Lilywhites meet the winners of Laois and Longford in O'Connor Park, Tullamore on June 4th.

As part of their preparations, they will head to Portugal for a few days and there will be two more players on the plane.

Raheens Paddy Woodgate and Ruadhan O'Giollain (Maynooth) have been added to the panel for the championship.

Kildare manager Cian O'Neill has also revealed that Athy's Kevin Feely has been appointed vice-captain for the coming year. Eoin Doyle has already been named as captain.
