Moorefield have already appointed their new senior football manager for the 2017 season.

Ross Glavin takes over the reins from his fellow Moorefield clubman Kenny Duane, who stepped down after the Kildare SFC final defeat to Newbridge rivals Sarsfields two weeks ago.

Glavin captained his native club to championship honours in 2013 and will be assisted by another Moores man, Frank Hanniffy. Both men were in charge of intermediate side Ballyteague this season.
