Maghery Sean McDermott's are hoping to follow in Crossmaglen's footsteps as they enter the Ulster Club SFC.

The Orchard County standard bearers will play host to the newly crowned Cavan champions Ramor United at the Athletic Grounds on Sunday and manager Shane McConville has his sights set on provincial glory.

"We have to give credit to Crossmaglen and all their achievements in Ulster and the All-Ireland series," he remarked to The Irish News.

"It would be remiss of us if we didn't go and give Ulster every single effort that we can.

"Any club coming out of Armagh would be feared - so if Crossmaglen didn't come out then the team that did obviously has to be feared.

"That's our approach to it: we'll be going to win an Ulster title, simple as that."
