Kildare star Daryl Flynn has announced his retirement from the inter county scene.
The Moorefield clubman gained a Leinster under 21 medal in 2004 and has been a member of the Lilywhite senior panel since.
With fellow Newbridge man Dermot Earley he formed a formidable midfield partnership but fell foul of bad injuries in recent seasons.
Daryl played a lead role as Kildare gained promotion from Division Three of the 2016 NFL and came on as a substitute for Tom Moolick in the divisional final defeat to Clare.
Some of Flynn's ex-teammates took to twitter to wish him all the best in his retirement.
When men were need for battle he's the one man you wanted in your team. Best of luck pal #topman https://t.co/jD4tXuMcTE
