Two-time All-Star Declan Browne was officially ratified as the county's new U21 football team manager, along with selectors Peter Lambert, Philly Ryan, Liam England and Andrew Lacey.

Confirmation was also forthcoming on the addition of former Limerick and Laois coach Jerome Stack to the senior management team spearheaded by Liam Kearns.

The appointment of Mattie Doherty as minor football team manager was also rubber-stamped.

Doherty replaces Mick O'Sullivan, who is stepping back to a selector's role, as manager and they will be joined by Kildare native Johnny Nevin and Jason Coffey (strength and conditioning).

A major boost for Doherty is the addition of David Power to his backroom team.

Power, the 2011 All-Ireland minor winning boss, was in charge of the Wexford seniors in 2015 and 2016 but has now returned to work with his native county.
