Bryan Sheehan agrees with Joe Brolly's contention that the enjoyment is being eroded out of gaelic football.

As he prepares for Sunday's Munster SFC final against Tipperary in Killarney, the Kerry captain admits that it can all be a bit much sometimes, especially at club level:

"The competition we have in training is ferocious and you really have to prepare well for training to be able to compete for a place in the team," he is quoted in The Irish Daily Star.

"You have to watch your diet. You have to make sure you are sleeping well. You have to do your gym work. You have to get your rubs.

"Someone had an article there in one of the papers - I think it was Joe Brolly. As much mouthing as he does, there is validity to some of the points he was making about the enjoyment going out of football, particularly at club level.

"I think it's gone too far in club football and it's very hard for a club footballer to enjoy his football with the professionalism of the game now."
