Murphy: Monaghan 'are a full package'

There's more to Monaghan than Conor McManus, says Michael Murphy.

The Donegal captain is well aware of the threat McManus poses to their ambitions of reaching the Anglo Celt Cup decider.

But he doesn't subscribe to the theory that the Farney County is a one man team.

"Quite similar to any game we have played Monaghan before, they have damn good footballers all over the pitch," he told The Irish News.

"Defensively they are very good but they also have the Conor McManus threat which is also very real but they have increased the number of threats throughout the pitch in the past number of years.

"They are a full package and we would like to think ourselves that we also have a number of threats throughout the pitch.

"We must try to negate Monaghan as best we can and try to push forward our own plans."
