Team news: Regan debuts for Mayo

Mayo's Evan Regan

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford has named Evan Regan as his side's sole debutant for Sunday's Connacht SFC quarter-final against London.

The Ballina Stephenites man starts at right corner-forward and makes up the full-forward line which contains team captain Cillian O'Connor and Breaffy's Conor O'Shea on the far flank.

In what is Rochford's first SFC selection, Tom Parsons and Jason Gibbons partner each other at centre-field and Aidan O'Shea starts on 'the 40'.

In defence, Kevin Keane and Colm Boyle take up the central positions at full-back and centre-back respectively, while Robbie Hennelly once again occupies the number one jersey.

As expected, current 'Young Footballer of the Year' Diarmuid O'Connor misses out for the Connacht champions trip to Ruislip and is joined on the injury list by Ger Cafferkey and Castlebar's Barry Moran, with Seamus O'Shea and Andy Moran named on the bench.

Mayo (Connacht SFC v London): Robbie Hennelly; Brendan Harrison, Kevin Keane, Keith Higgins; Lee Keegan, Colm Boyle, Patrick Durcan; Tom Parsons, Jason Gibbons; Kevin McLoughlin, Aidan O'Shea, Jason Doherty; Evan Regan, Cillian O'Connor, Conor O'Shea

Subs: David Clarke, David Drake, Caolan Crowe, Shane Nally, Michael Hall, Stephen Coen, Cathal Carolan, Conor Loftus, Andy Moran, Seamus O'Shea, Alan Dillon
