Broken hand rules Hogan out of Dubs date

Richie Hogan has revealed he will definitely miss Kilkenny's Leinster SHC semi-final date with Dublin.

The 2014 'Hurler of the Year' suffered a broken hand on hurling league club duty with Danesfort against Ballyhale last weekend. 

The seven-time All-Ireland winner confirmed to RTÉ Sport that he is scheduled to have a consultation at a Dublin hospital tomorrow.

He is not sure how long he will be confined to the sidelines for but the June 11 clash with the Dubs will come too soon.
