The 2016 MMI Ladies interprovincial championship

National trophies at senior level in Ladies Gaelic Football are rare in the province of Ulster, apart from when it comes to the MMI Interprovincial Championships.

The northern girls buck the trend in the interpros and have just completed a remarkable five wins in-a-row by beating Connacht in the Final at Kinnegad.

Ulster manager James Daly puts the success down to 'pride in the jersey' and a full turn-out by his best players.

See interviews with James and Ulster captain Caroline O'Hanlon in a video report by Jerome Quinn for the LGFA.
