The Limerick senior hurling squad has been reduced by three.

Cathal King, Adrian Breen and Barry O'Connell have left the squad for various reasons and all three will be a loss.

King and Breen were an integral part of the side last year, while O'Connell has had plenty of game time also.

Limerick manager TJ Ryan has sent the players back to their clubs in preparation for the club championships over the next two weeks.

It will be a nervy time for the Limerick management who will be keeping their fingers crossed that the players come through unscathed.

Limerick take on Cork or Tipperary in the Munster SHC semi-final on June 19th and following next weekend's club games, the focus will be on the provincial campaign.
