Offaly have a number of injury worries ahead of their must win clash against Carlow.

Following the surprise defeat to Westmeath last weekend, the Faithful County are on the backfoot in the Leinster SHC round robin series.

A second defeat would see them in real danger of being relegated to the Christy Ring Cup next year, but they still have a chance of reaching the quarterfinals.

And their cause is not helped by the fact that they have a number of injury concerns ahead of the must win clash.

Definitely out of the clash at O'Connor Park are Sean Ryan (concussion) and Conor Doughan (broken collarbone).

Offaly manager Eamonn Kelly also has doubts over Podge Guinan, Sean Gardiner and Niall Wynne who all have been carrying injuries in recent weeks.
