Roscommon defender Donal Ward has left Dublin giants Kilmacud Crokes to return to his native Western Gaels.
Ward started at half-back for Crokes during last year's senior championship campaign in the capital, impressing in their second round defeat to eventual champions Ballyboden St Enda's.
The 26-year-old had featured prominently for the Gaels during runs to county finals in 2009 and 2013 (both ended in defeat) and was missed during a tough campaign last year and the north Roscommon club will no doubt be keen to welcome him back with open arms.
Meanwhile, Rossies full-back Neil Collins has left his native Castlerea to ply his trade with St Brigid's, Blanchardstown/Castleknock for 2016.
